NYC Openings — September 30, 2025

September is coming to a close, and with October colder temps are on the horizon. Yet the bar and restaurant scene in NYC is still heating up.

Every week, we highlight the newest bars and restaurants popping up around the city. Quick note: these spots aren’t yet on PartyPlace (we’re working on it), but they’re worth checking out if you like being the first to know.

Here’s what’s new:

🍣 Sushi Koju (Boerum Hill, Brooklyn)

A sleek sushi counter focusing on seasonal omakase, with an emphasis on technique and intimacy.

☕ Artion Café (Tribeca)

Part café, part design space — a bright, airy coffee shop with specialty coffee and thoughtful pastries.

🪶 Birds (West Village)

Playful cocktails and natural wines in a colorful, bird-themed setting. Perfect for groups and late nights.

🔥 Chubby Cattle BBQ (SoHo/Chinatown edge)

From the team behind Chubby Cattle hotpot comes an all-new robot-powered Korean BBQ with conveyor-belt service.

🌿 Mykonian Garden (Midtown East)

A lush Greek escape with Mediterranean plates, vibrant décor, and breezy garden vibes.

🍸 Macario (Park Slope, Brooklyn)

A moody cocktail bar with an upscale Mexican edge. Expect inventive agave-driven drinks, dim lighting, and a late-night vibe.

🌇 An Oldie But A Goodie: VERSA

Summer may be fading, but rooftop season isn’t over just yet. One of our go-to spots is VERSA — a beautiful rooftop with plenty of space, TVs for gameday, and skyline views that make happy hours and birthdays feel extra special. If you haven’t been, now’s the time to soak it in before the coats come out.

Here is a full rooftop walk-through, including some of the best NYC skyline views.

That’s the lineup for this week. As always, we’ll keep working to bring the best of NYC directly onto PartyPlace — so soon you can book these kinds of spots in just a click.

See you out there!
